I want to use my medication less but I feel horrible when I stop taking them, I can’t focus, I binge eat and that leads to weight gain, I’m even more depressed, and my ankles start to swell. Has anyone ever been prescribed Vyvanse for treatment resistant depression? What was your experience like? The constant fatigue and lack of motivation are beginning to be too much. I have tried so many antidepressants and mood stabilizers with little relief. I’m starting to loose hope that anything will ever help. My doctor just prescribed me Vyvanse we will see if that makes any difference.

I’m about to switch from 2 30mg Adderall a day over to 1 40mg vyvanse a day. I’ve taken both before but I’m still nervous. I was wondering for anyone who’s on it or has been which one did you find worked better for you? #medications #Adderall #Vyvanse #ADHD

I think the Vyvanse helped my depression for a while, along with a new boss. My boss recently retired, and my depression has come back.

Hi friends! I’ve been on Vyvanse for 1.5 years & I love it - it lifted me out of a *long* depression.
But the lack of appetite has caused countless flares in chronic migraine & I’m worried about the weight loss, as at this point it isn’t healthy - I’m starving myself (not purposefully).

Current “fixes:”
I try to eat a big, protein & carb-packed breakfast before Vyvanse kicks in, I drink nutrition shakes when I need sustenance, & I occasionally use marijuana in the evenings to boost appetite.

I’d love to hear ANY other suggestions!
