    Cats death

My beloved Kevin lost his ability to walk on Christmas Eve & we put him down. He would drape himself around my & sit there, purring, for hours. He was firstly & loud before heart disease got the most of him. I’m still near tears all of the time

    I’m new here!

Hi, my name is leilanio278. I’ve been getting tested for Lupus and Rhumatic Heart Disease and I have inflammation in my whole body, have been in a lot of pain and the doctors are having a hard time trying to find out what it is that’s causing this, I will see a specialist in Jan and have CT Scans done as well. I’m 22 and a mother to a 2yr old, last thing I want is to be sick and struggle to parent, any advice would be nice 🫶🏽

What type of specialist do you wish was on your medical team?

Being chronically ill definitely comes with its own set of complications, and we wish there was access to every type of specialist out there for all of the medical needs we have as complex patients. But realistically, not every single geographic location or insurance plan makes that feasible.

If you had it your way, what type of specialist do you wish you had? What would make that specialist helpful to you?

What tips do you have for enjoying the outdoors with chronic illness?
