Saying goodbye is hard!

Well, tomorrow Loki and I are getting together with his girlfriend and their best friend Koa (white baby) to say good bye!
Koa is going back to live with her breeder because unfortunately in her contract she is a show dog and because of covid, the expenses of show dogs are pretty high. She was hoping to change the contract to just a pet contract but because Koa's parents are some hardcore champion in their breed, the breeder wants Koa in the shows to carry the bloodline.
So the breeders are buying her back and she leave Wednesday.
It is hitting hard tonight that tomorrow is the last day we will see her.
You should see how excited they get when they see each other!! How much Koa loves her family and loves her life.
Even though I know she will be safe, I just can't imagine the little while she will have to deal with not knowing what is going on! Wondering where her family is and her friends.
I just don't get it, why take a dog away from a happy loving home because of shows!
I am in so much pain, my fatigue is easing up a little but I got to do this for all of us!
Bundle up really well and take some hot chocolate with me and have a good morning!

Happy Halloween!!!

Hello Everyone!!
Hope you are all doing ok!! Unfortunately I have been in a bad flare still! I have been doing the bare minimum!!
Watching Loki this year with Halloween has been fun!! So many things he didn't really recognize from last year!! Barking at our decorations to being scared of pumpkins! It was pretty funny!
I hope to get back on here more. I just been doing my best to get lots of rest!
Hope you all have a wonderful Halloween!
Love Loki and I

I pulled myself through depression by foccusing on improving myself. Now i am less depressed than i used to be, but since i got physically ill i feel so guilty for gaming of watching tv. When my days where darkest i hid myself in bed with tv and snacks. So now when i do that i feel guilty because it feels like im avoiding my problems. There is just nothing i can do to help my physical issues exept rest.

I feel like we get so used to hearing those phrases and thoughts that tell us about what we can't do because of our conditions or special circumstances.
We keep a tab in our minds of how far we push ourself so we don't cause ourselves more misery or pain. But sometimes that makes us forget that we CAN do things. We may not be able to climb a mountain or sail the seas looking for lost treasure but what we can do is without true measure. We can do things that most doctors or the average joe wouldn't dream of doing while dealing with our unique situations. Our bodies work hard to exist in this life. That is no small thing.
We Have Power. We may not see it in the darkest of hours but I promise it is there. Take my word for it. All it takes is one person with passion in their bones to change the world.
We CAN do things. We are unstoppable. Life has made us a little different than others perhaps but that just means we can accomplish things in a different way.

We are Brave in all we do. Brave to live life, brave to make things work for us, and brave for powering through each and every moment. And that is the only ingredient ever needed to make Heroes and Heroines who will make the world better just by existing.

With brave wings we fly.

Interior designer soul with a chronically ill body

To cheer myself up in my childhood bedroom that I have lived in for 22 years now I have learned to spruce things up with beautiful patterns and empowering quotes. A fun calendar remind me of my many doctors appointments and yet to still make time for fun in between.
My pillowcase patterns may not match but together they make me smile as I spend 21hrs a day in bed.

The good in our lives doesn't have to cost very much but it must be worth a lot to us. Surrounding ourselves with things we love, adore, and appreciate can help us in our valiant fight against bad health sadness and frustration. As I always say, it is the little things! And I promise they totally add up! 😉

Please don't forget your worth.

Living in this crazy world takes a Lot of work. Existing day by day is no leisurely stroll in the park.
Don't forget to give yourself credit for the effort you put in. Reward yourself today.
Give yourself much needed 'you' time.
If there is one thing that should Never be procrastinated, it is showing appreciation for yourself and how much you do to make it in this world.
You are worth so much more than you can imagine. Don't forget to remind yourself of that.

'Grateful Challenge' From a fellow mighty

A little sunday goodness!

I am grateful for my mom because not only is she an Incredible example of selflessness but she also is brilliantly intelligent and clever and gave me my love of mystery books! She does SO many things for me despite also still working hard at the hospital and somehow finds time to do not only cook meals for us but help me wash my hair, do my laundry, take care of my pup on days I can't get out of bed from the pain, AND she makes delectable chocolate chip cookies to help my life taste that much sweeter. She is a True blessing. I can't imagine how much harder my life of pain would be without her here to cry to, chat with, and laugh with while also catching a killer on our favorite crime show.

I am grateful for my bedroom! The only place I can remember living in and it has become my haven and oasis as I necessarily sleep my days away and spend my late nights reading conference talks, books, and watching cooking or crime shows to end my day and prepare for more sleep. (Plus a slice of heaven for Lucy too!) Even better is that my Amazing family have put a cooler in my room so I can keep it gloriously frigid during summer/spring/and fall days. Being able to organize it like an apartment AND paint it to my interior designer whims is the icing on the proverbial cake! 🥰

And lastly I am SO grateful for electronics! Without my computer, kindle, and phone it would be so very hard to ignore the pain as well as I can and life would not be nearly as interesting! Having the ability to not only chat with a bunch of friends and family and keep up with their lives, I have also been able to read stories that take me to other lives and places, watch happily mind-numbing shows plus catching killers with intense crime shows, And write to my hearts content with a Lot more ease than with pen and paper. SO many blessings and so many more unnamed.

No doubt there are many downs as well as ups in life, but without a doubt focusing on the good is a LOT more fun! 🥰 😁 ❤💕

*Cool not-so-humble Aunt Brag*
When I visited my sister and her family last fall, my brilliant and awesome nephew Shane asked me if-for his bday-I could send him a big box full of bath bombs!
(Short backstory, I sent them some for Christmas the year before and since then have happily been supplying their fizzing addiction)

I told him I totally would since that is a pretty Awesome wish list if you ask me.
So far I have 23 bath bombs in a box for my nephews bday that is still two months away.
I am SO EXCITED to see his face when he opens the package and sees them alll!!! 😁😆☺️ I cannot wait!!!! -The only downside to getting people's gifts early is the waiting!

Bonus points because two of them have prizes inside!!! I haven't yet sent them one that has something inside so that is going to be even more awesome!!!!

#auntwin! #coolestauntaward #inittowinit! ;) 😁😁😁

I may not be able to be an active aunt going places and doing everything but one thing I absolutely can do and excell at: Find and send the COOLEST Gifts Ever!!! Whoop whoop!!! 😉
