On a daily basis i hear myself and other's around me saying the phrase's "i'm ok " , "it's ok " and i know myself when i use it that roughly 9 times out of 10 i am for sure NOT OK !!!
It is such an easier thing to just say this rather than admit how rubbish your day or week has been or even all of the thing's that you are going through right now....
Also it then save's that feeling of guilt as though you've been a burden for loading off how you really are or what you are really going through .
I mean let's be honest surely they didn't really want to know ?
Surely they are only just being polite ??
They have their own lives they don't need my stress ??
MAYBE just MAYBE they do actually care and even though they might not be able to help as such , just speaking with them might actually help lift my stress and anxiety a little ???
It's so easy to just give a quick answer saying i'm ok but to be honest i am really tired of doing that myself and it doesn't seem to be working anyway so MAYBE ill give it a go trying it this way and being honest once in a while ......
Even on this platform its helped me massively and i am very passionate about it so hopefully this may even help someone else to feel they can be honest to even just one other person .....
It can't be any worse but it could just make a massive better difference.....
