I have taken up painting as a hobby and, although I have zero knowledge or talent, I find it calming. I either gift my pictures or turf them out. There are just too many to keep. This picture is my self portrait. The black represents trauma that slowly leads into the grey, that is healing. White represents fresh and new and innocent. The red is my face; I'm so broken it is unrecognizable.

Feeling super guilty that I haven't been able to give my furkids all they need. #Depression has been really bad lately, to the point I am frustrated, irritated and impatient. These amazing critters are not getting the games and fun times I use to give them. I keep wondering if I should find better homes for the most of them. Homes where they can go for more walks, be with an active person. One where #Fibromyalgia and #lyme don't get in the way.
It's not that I don't love them, it's that I love them enough to let them go.
