What's your experience stopping antidepressants? #prozac #Depression #Fluoxetine

Hey, I've been in a good place lately and I've been thinking about quitting my #Antidepressants
I'm pretty sure I'm having some side effects to the medication and I've been thinking about quitting for 4 years. I'm just scared to try. The what ifs and all.
If you have any experience in quitting to take antidepressants, please share! Or any info at all about it

#Depression #Fluoxetine

So I don't know if anyone else feels this but I'm depressed and am on antidepressants but I'm sad because I have to take a pill every day to feel okay. Like I fully have a melt down whenever I take my meds. Any suggestions on how to feel better even the slightest?

what is/was your experience with prozac?

hi friends!
I was just prescribed 10mg of fluoxetine (Prozac) for the first time and I’m excited/nervous. Excited because I’m so ready to stabilize my mood/ feel less depressed and anxious. Nervous because I’m afraid of adverse side-effects or it just not working. I’d LOVE to know what experiences you’ve had with it. thanks in advance!! #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder #Y  #BPD #Depression #Anxiety #Fluoxetine #prozac

Is this supposed to be #Medication that someone suffering from #Depression can afford?

I’m a little confused, because w/ or w/o insurance #Fluoxetine & #prozac were supposed to be meds that were affordable. So now what’s the plan for anyone who’s been paying $6 every 3 months for the last 5+ years to help them maintain a normal life dealing with #DepressiveDisorders #Anxiety #ObsessiveCompulsiveDisorder? Does anyone know what’s happening here?

should I stop taking my meds? #Fluoxetine

I have been on a standard dose for well over a year. since working abroad I have been really happy then really sad and now just up and down. I have been drinking alcohol socially a lot but recently stop to see if my meds started working again. I am still up and down and only had one drink in the last 6 weeks. should I just stop alcohol or my meds? not sure what to do just now. a neighbor got broken into yesterday in the day time and I have been on edge and anxious and unhappy since. do I just wait a few days before I make any decisions. don't feel Christmas at all.

stomach ulcer from SSRI medication

I've been on fluoxetine for almost 6 years and this year I've been rushed to hospital twice with severe stomach pains that lead to me fainting and vomiting like mad. Doctors said it could be a stomach ulcer but they wouldn't put money on it. I've looked up the symptoms and I have a lot of them. I'm waiting to be referred for a endoscopy but I'm worrying myself sick that the pain will come back again. It's the most horrendus pain I've ever felt. Like uncontrollable screaming out loud pain.

#Fluoxetine and #Alcohol

I think alcohol is stopping my meds from working but I am finding it hard not to drink anything when in social occasions. The social aspect I find nessesary for my mental health from time to time. Do you know if there is an amount of alcohol or time between drinking that will stop this being an issue or do I just need to experiment with these variables or do I need to avoid alcohol altogether?

Anyone taking wellbutrin and sarafem? #wellbutrin #sarafem #generic #SideEffects #hotflashes #shaky #Bupropion #Fluoxetine #PMDD

#Medication
I have been on bupropion 300mg for mdd for 1.5 years and just started 20mg generic Sarafem (fluoxetine) 1 week ago for pmdd. I'm having hot flashes and shakiness- anxiety and depression are not lifting. Anyone had experiences with this combo? Do side effects cease after a while?

Does anyone have strange side effects to #Fluoxetine ?

For the past six months I have felt like my health has taken a huge downturn. My depression has been the worst ever, and the Doc upped my dosage. I also have become borderline diabetic over the past 6 months and cholesterol is shooting up. I find that my legs twitch at night, and I clench my jaw when trying to sleep. Lately I feel like
I have blurry vision. I have been on this for about 3 years now.
I also take adderall, 20 mg long acting. Help! #Fluoxetine
