    I am truly thankful for each and everyone of you in this community 💙

    Diabetes doesn't take breaks, so make sure you continue to manage it as well as you can!

    - Eat smaller portions
    - Eat and drink responsibly
    - Don’t skip meals
    - Take insulin and/or oral medication at regular times
    - If you’re able to, take walks, dance or play fun movement games with family and friends
    - Manage stress by avoiding heated discussions and taking small breaks when needed

    World Diabetes Day is being observed today. In my opinion, it's a day we wish we never had to acknowledge. World Diabetes Day serves as a reminder, however, that we must unite so that we can spread awareness and work to find a cure for an illness that affects over 463 million people worldwide.

    Today, take a moment to share your story or spread awareness with friends, family, or in your community.

    By sharing our stories and spreading awareness, more people can be informed about diabetes and empowered to take charge of their health.
