Cuppa Self - Love

This morning is difficult, like rapids in a river. Please don’t ask about it. I don’t want to talk specifics with strangers online. I’ve been talking a friend about it this morning… and notified my therapist. So there’s no reason for anyone to fret about me. I made these cupcakes last night with self-love and positive thoughts about me as a child. So while it might not be what some might think is the best thing for breakfast… I don’t care. The mug is just a funny dark humor joke that helps me alchemize the invisible pain. Inside the mug is mushroom wellness blend (by Buddha Teas) with silk oat milk creamer (oatmeal cookie flavor). #breakfast #tea #Selfcare #Selflove #Trauma #PTSD #PTSDSupportAndRecovery

Overnight oatmeal: superquick, hot breakfast, with an added benefit

Tomorrow's warm breakfast is easy as can be: Before bed, mix five ingredients, or anything else you want to use, and pop it in the fridge overnight. You can microwave in the morning or eat it cold.

The other good thing, especially if you use steel cut or Scottish oats, is that it can really help in the regularity department. This is a constant issue for me with MS. Oatmeal has soluble fiber, which breaks down and smooths things along through the system. When I started eating steel cut oatmeal, it worked like magic.

Breakfast dessert 🤗

I made myself a bowl of "dessert" for breakfast this morning!

Base: (mixed and sat for 10 mins)
Plain yogurt
Chia seed
Ground flax seed
Cinnamon

Fruit: (thawed from the freezer)
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blackberries

Toppings:
Sprinkle of shredded coconut
Homemade speculoos biscuits

What kind of fancy breakfast do you like to treat yourself to every once in a while?
