You hear all the time.
They tell you there are others
Who aren't feeling "fine."

Others who may not feel
Precisely like you do
But someway, somehow,
They're struggling too.

The struggles are different
And we shouldn't compare.
Each one has their issues
And feels life isn't fair.

You're not alone
If others feel the way you do,
Which can make you feel less alone
But it makes me feel for you.

It makes me sad
To know what you're feeling.
I hope you're ok
And step by step you're healing.

It pains me to think
Of what you're going through
Of the things you're feeling
Because I'm feeling them too.

This life isn't easy
And it wasn't what we planned.
But you're not alone
If you take my hand.
