TRUE or FALSE: I tend to compare myself to others.

Hi Mighties! 🌼

Growing up as a highly sensitive and observant child, I noticed that I often compared myself to those around me—usually without even realizing it. That habit played a big role in the perfectionism I still grapple with today. Whether it was how I performed in school, how much emotion I showed, or how I navigated friendships and relationships, my choices were often shaped by what I thought was acceptable—especially to the adults I spent the most time with.

Now, as an adult in the age of the internet—and even though I'm learning to trust myself more, make my own decisions, and do what feels right for me—I still find that comparing myself to my peers remains a big obstacle I’d like to overcome. I know I’m my own person and that everyone’s life path is different, but it’s still challenging nonetheless.

Can anyone else relate? What’s your experience?
