Night time anxiety

Hello, I'm new to the mighty. I have most of my anxiety at night time. Maybe it's the thought of my day being over, and the thought of what might tomorrow bring. It's stress I have going on in life. Overthinking. Shoulda coulda wouldas. Then I become sleepless for hours, and end up falling asleep around 2 am, only to have a hard time waking up for work on time, and am exhausted. And repeat the next day. And the next. #Anxiety #Nighttime #Insomnia #sleepless #MindDoesntStop

Do you like to see lights amid darkness?

Tonight was my first attempt at using an artificial candle to aid me in nighttime photograph. I put the 'candle' on a path near my house, stood back and took a photo.

I find that for me, especially in the times when it can seem like there is not a whole lot of light visible at the end of whatever tunnel I am in, that light is still yearned for. So a light amid the darkness helps fill my bucket even if only by a few drops.

What are your thoughts?

Bella has got the moon in her eyes... #ADHD #Nighttime

This is Bella. We lost her this year. She was a very brave little friend.

Youtube suggestions please?

Looking for something light and relaxing and pleasant but also interesting to watch on youtube in bed while waiting for my meds to put me to sleep. Any suggestions welcome! Topics or ideas or channels. Thank you!

Night time world.

For a long time I've felt better at night then the day, the reason for this is simple, there's less attention. In the dark we can hide, it wraps us up and keeps us safe.

To be honest i find this really sad, I walk my dogs at night, do bits of gardening at night, clean at night, shop at night and so much more (obviously I do this silently so not to disturb neighbours etc) and I do it because people don't stare, they don't judge or cast opinions on me, I feel safer and the worst thing is that it feeds the issues that make me do it in the first place! And then on the occasion I can sleep im late to rise or I barely sleep causing sleepiness in the day and this makes me feel that people look at me like "oh he's just lazy", "oh he's always messing up and saying he's just tired" . The real issue comes from the fact that its a revolving cycle with no end in sight.

To anyone else that lives a life in the dark i hear you, i feel you and I understand why.
