Gratitude

I have been sober for over four years now and I am so grateful today to have my family back in my life. Three of those four years I was institutionalized and prior to that I was in and out of active addiction for a long time not really respecting my family or myself because of the things I did in active addiction, plus I am a T1D and have been for 30 years now. I am so grateful to be alive today and I am not really sure how, but here I am. I am grateful. Thank you!

I am almost close to 30 years old and don’t know if I have a successful future ahead

Honestly I feel like giving up on God and just keep going to the mental hospital constantly. I hate the way God made me. I have really bad mental health issues and probably don’t even have the brightest future ahead unless if I have a lucky star. I spent most of my years in and out of mental hospitals. I barely lived life and sometimes I don’t care if I die because I am not living a life I want and I feel miserable #MentalHealth #Anxiety #ADHD #AnorexiaNervosa #Bipolar2 #Bipolar1 #BipolarDepression #BipolarDisorder #CheckInWithMe #SchizoaffectiveDisorder #Schizophrenia #Psychosis #ComplexPosttraumaticStressDisorder #PTSD #Trauma #SuicidalIdeation #SuicidalThoughts #Selfharm #Autism #Addiction #GeneralizedAnxietyDisorder #ObsessiveCompulsiveDisorder #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder #Manic #Grief #Diabetes #DiabetesType1 #DiabetesType2 #MajorDepressiveDisorder #EatingDisorders

When do you stop looking?

I've been chronically ill most of my life. And I've tried A LOT of different things to help or find answers.

But I'm tired.

Worn out.

Exhausted.

Grieved.

I wonder if it's time to stop working so hard to eke out a possibility of feeling better, and just let things be as they are. Live as I am, and let it be enough.

But I'm scared that that's giving up.

Or...is it giving in? Surrendering my denial that this is how it is?

I'd love to know what my Mighty family thinks of this.

Hello 👋🏼

Hi everyone! I am new to this group. I live with Type 1 diabetes, hypothyroidism, anemia and chronic kidney disease. I also have anxiety as a result of living with these conditions. Consequently I am exhausted most of the time and struggle to accomplish things in my life. Nice to meet everyone and hear everyone’s stories here.

New kid’s on the block

I’m new. Married with just us and two cats. We live in a travel trailer, while I’m out of work. Recently chased down a bunch of new diagnoses after 5 years.

Lupus, fibromyalgia, degenerative disk disease along with ongoing Type 1 diabetes and anxiety.

I enjoy reading posts and stories on here. More of a lurker than a poster.

Bye.
