Quick Tip Thursday: Make Sure to Take Advantage of the Sunshine Vitamin

Adequate amounts of vitamin D can improve blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity in people with diabetes. You can get your dose of vitamin D just by enjoying the sunshine!
Take advantage of this sunshine vitamin by taking a 10 minute walk, doing some gardening, or just by relaxing and reading your favorite book. Don't forget to put on the sunscreen!
