How would you describe the room you’re currently in? #52SmallThings

How would you rate the room you’re in right now? Maybe there are coats piling up on a chair or the waste bin needs to be emptied. Or maybe you just finished cleaning and it’s pretty tidy! (Whatever your surroundings look like, it’s perfectly OK.) Using the emojis below, share which one closely reflects the room you’re in right now:

    🧼 Just cleaned
    🧹 Messy but manageable
    🧺 Messier than I’d prefer

If you have the energy to, share some words of encouragement if you see someone is struggling with keeping their space tidy. We’re all in this together, one sponge at a time.

This week’s theme is all about love languages and how they play a role in leveling up your self-care routine. What’s yours?

    🎁 - Receiving Gifts
    📚 - Quality Time
    🧺 - Acts of Services
    📝 - Words of Affirmation
    🤗 - Physical Touch

Maybe you like receiving gifts or having uninterrupted quality time. Maybe you prefer doing or arranging tasks that make you feel good (or having them done for you), as acts of services. Or perhaps you like words of affirmations or physical touch. Drop the emoji that best matches the love language you identify with below.

One thing that helps me the most when I’m feeling stressed or anxious is... #CheckInWithMe

I don’t know about y’all, but I have a pretty hefty plate of stress these days. Maybe you can relate. One of my go-to strategies for coping with stress is watching renovation/DIY videos on YouTube. I think my love of these types of videos started when my uncle accidentally recorded over my “Barney & Friends” tape with an episode of Bob Vila’s home improvement show when I was a toddler.

    But I digress.

If you’re feeling extra stressed lately, whether it’s because of the election in the U.S., the ongoing coronavirus pandemic or something in your personal life (or, like me, all of the above), I see you and you’re 100% not alone.

Comment with the emoji that best matches what usually works for you in coping with stress:

    ✏️ Journaling
    📞 Talking to friends
    🏕 Spending time outside
    🤣 Laughing at memes
    😴 Taking a nap
💙 Something else (Let me know!)

I hope you find some time for self-care today. Sending you ❤️

When are you most productive? #52SmallThings

Figuring out when you’re most productive during the day is one of the key steps to fighting procrastination and getting things done. You’re more likely to want to power through and finish your task(s) at hand than leave them for later if you’re feeling energized and ready to go. Drop the emoji that best represents when you feel most productive in the comments below.
