Today I’ve woken up with more pain all over than I can cope with and a migraine thumping my my head. I know I need to rest and take care of myself but I feel so guilty doing it.
I’ve had to cancel my online lessons so my students are doing without me, my dogs aren’t getting playtime as they are asking, my house isn’t being tidied, I’m not able to communicate properly with my partner and I daren’t tell my family because they will say to get on with it!
How can I be kind to myself when I’m beating myself up about it? What do you do to be kind to yourself when you are struggling?
Also, any happy things happening to others that I can smile about?
