A mountain climbed #MightyPoets
I climbed snowdon with my children, in their teens.
The view of of their faces was enough for me, they were like sun glowing machines.
The most amazing, family bonding descent, was enjoyed like a famy, with all the means.

The Mountains I’ve Climbed
Caught in this spot
This moment of dread
Battling the negativity filling #Mountains my head
I distance my friends
I trust no ones love
Helping me fight this battle is something they’re above
The sleepless nights
My mind always racing
The handful of problems I’m the only one facing
I try to explain
I try to define
What anxiety and depression can do to ones mind
They don’t understand
I feel the frustration
But I know there are others in my same situation
Just when I thought I’ve wasted my time
I look back on all of the mountains I’ve climbed
And in that moment, I find a brief moment of peace.
And then..
Repeat.

Our kids climb mountains...
