    OUR ANXIETY IS OUR ALLY

Are you one of the people who has no other choice but to do the errands such as grocery shopping, going to the drug store, walking the dog or delivering goods despite being terribly anxious? Well, good news! Your anxiety is your ally! I know some will argue with me but think about this, covid19 is transmitted through droplets, surfaces and in some cases like in a hospital setting, through air circulation, meaning, if we avoid doing things that might get us infected such as: not washing your hands frequently, bad hygiene, not practicing social distancing (6 feet away from another person), always touching your face, not wearing protective gears such as masks, gloves and face shields, etc, we are safe. Now why did I say that our anxiety is our ally? Simple, us being paranoid about almost everything will make us do all the precautionary and safety measures needed will somehow spare us from getting it.

Use your anxiety to your advantage. I'm lying if I say it doesn't suck, but it'll eventually save you from doing the wrong things and making bad decisions. Trust me, I've been going in and out of grocery stores and I must say, my anxiety is quite tamed and somehow behave.

I listed all the possible reasons why...

When I'm at the grocery I...

    1. DO NOT TOUCH SURFACES EASILY

    2. MAKE SURE MY MASKS AND GLOVES ARE ON

    3. I BRING MY ALCOHOL AND WET WIPES SO I COULD USE THEM BEFORE I TOUCH THE CART OR ANY SURFACE

    4. MAKE SURE THAT I HAVE MY SHOPPING LIST TO SAVE TIME THNKING ABOUT WHAT TO BUY AND SI I COULD GET OUT OF THE STORE IMMEDIATELY AFTER

    5. SANITIZE MY HANDS AFTER HOLDING THE MONEY

    6. THANK THE FRONTLINERS (CASHIERS, GUARDS, ATTENDANTS) FOR DOING SUCH AN AMAZING JOB OF PROVIDING OUR NEEDS

    7. PRAY. THANK HIM FOR KEEPING ME SAFE AND CALM WHILE DOING THE ERRANDS

doing errands outside is probably one of the things that we cannot avoid. We're humans, we have our needs and we also have our responsibility.

After grocery shopping, before I leave the parking lot, I message the people at home saying I'm already on my way back, ask them to open up the gate, the front door, and bring my towel to the bathroom so I won't touch anything as I get in.

What we need to do right now is RELAX while being ANXIOUS. Yeah, I know it's hard, but being Anxious will make you avoid doing things that you shouldn't do (at least for now) , and being relaxed will make you think rationally while you're outside.

I know you can do it, Mighty! Stay safe and may God bless you! ❤️❤️❤️

    Hiya Mighty Friends and Family

I'm pretty sure today is Saturday but dont quote me on it.

I'm laying here in bed been awake for hours the birds have finally woken up and it's getting light now. My dogs are still snoring next to me 🐶🐕🐾.

Cant seem to stay sleeping much passed 4am Anymore.
But my wonderful doctor has given me a prescription to try the lidocaine patches on my face. Yayyyyyyy.

So fingers crossed I should get that delivered today 🏍🤞🤞🤞🏍 by a very nice man on a motorcycle.
Then I can try it on my face and see if it helps cut down on the pain.
    Here's hoping!!!!!!!!

So how are you? What are you hoping for this coming weekend or coming week? Are you going to try a new hobby or new exercise? Are you not sleeping like me or are you in sleeping like a baby!!!!!!!!

    Living with #ChronicIllness

I am one of those people that has a really hard time asking people for help. The more my conditions have progressed, the more I've had to "get over it," and ask for help. It still feels like chewing on glass every time I have to. For multiple reasons, but mostly because I can always tell when someone doesn't really WANT to help. That leads to me feeling badly about asking in the first place, making me want to just do whatever I can by myself, and go without whatever I can't do by myself. I know that's not really at all healthy, but this is one of those things I still struggle with daily, no matter how hard I try to feel differently about it. But that's okay. I am always a work in progress. #COVID19 It shouldn't have gotten this bad

I am posting this here because most of us are at risk from this virus, so the way this has been handled impacts us significantly more than the average person. We should be more angry with them than most. We are the ones they saw as acceptable losses. We can't let that go. This is my message to our political leaders: If this country gets reopened too soon, it will be the most irresponsible move in American history, and will result in losing EVEN MORE lives than we already have to. STOP MESSING UP. Can you really not see how bad of a mistake that would be?? Stop being weak. Stand up to those saying that you need to move faster than medical professionals advise. Get on the right side of history because it WILL be recorded forever in the history books, and hopefully they'll tell the truth about how the majority of these lives could have been saved if our leaders had reacted when they should have and with the seriousness that was required. We should have been shut down AT LEAST in January. We wouldn't be staying at home now it we had. There would be some guidelines in place, but they would have been able to contain the spread. Every death beyond what we would have lost if we'd shut down in January has been directly caused by political drama and we should NOT be accepting that as just life or okay. We should be outraged and letting them know how horrible it is that they've allowed so many to die. Yes, I blame them because it IS their fault. You know you're a #Spoonie

I rarely wear make-up. Like, REALLY rarely😂😂 I opened up my make-up bag to a mask because they are so prevalent in my life, even when #covıd19 isn't around. During flu season, masks are a common thing because the flu is also dangerous to those of us who are living with chronic illnesses. That probably made us one of the most prepared demographics for this virus. We live it all the time, so I can't help but feel a little like this time is also a lesson in compassion for humanity. Let's just hope they learn it (shh I can hope.)
