Anxiety is frustrating

I know it's probably confusing for people to see me talk about having anxiety while simultaneously putting out content that isn't.....sugarcoated (that's best word I can think of,) but that's just what it's like for someone like me. I'm great in a high-pressure crisis. Give me an emergency to deal with and I will switch into crisis mode and start solving problems however I can. Ask me what I want for dinner or what color you should make something? I might break down on you. I can't explain WHY my brain is like this, but it is. It's helpful in a crisis, not so much at other times😂 I have learned to keep it fairly well managed by being vigilante using my anxiety cards & other techniques AND keeping up with my daily management routine. The combination of methods keeps me from being overwhelmed by anxiety, even without using medication. I've wrote about all of this on my blog for anyone interested in learning to do the same. It takes time and effort. It's not an easy, overnight fix, but it's a sustainable management method that works. #ChronicIllness After #COVID19

Since I'm all about finding the humor and any sliver of anything positive to hold on to when crappy things happen (while also acknowledging reality. You know I can't be one of those "positivity only" people. Life can suck,)- this virus will at least give us #chronicillnesswarriors some fuel in the future when someone tries to act like how we have to live is completely acceptable. I sincerely hope there are many changes coming that will make things better for all of us, based on the experiences able-bodied society has had during this crisis. I'm sure there are some that will still act like it's nothing (they are probably some of the same ones violating guidelines right now,) but I can hope😂💜 For more from me, visit the link in my profile #AloneTogether #stayathome #stayhomesavelives #InvisibleDisability #invisibleillnesswarrior #InvisibleIllness #Fibromyalgia #fibrowarriors #Spoonie #spooniewarrior #writtenbydida

#COVID19 Stay Home Guidelines To Share💜

I posted this on my platforms today, so I figured I'd share here for anyone that needs a graphic to share. This is the message I posted with it: To expand on this- watch your children. Even if you've explained to them, and told them 100 times. They don't always see the bigger picture, and may expose themselves without even realizing. Family outings should not be a thing at the moment. Every time you go out, if you drive, you're using gas- which means eventually, you'll need to fill up- adding another stop, potentially exposing more people. When you go out, it's more likely you'll run into something contaminated, or someone who is sick, or a carrier who is not showing any symptoms. You can mostly control your own environment, but outside of your home (that you have disinfected and been practicing all the techniques for keeping the virus out,) there could be any number of things you can touch that someone else may have. If everyone goes, that significantly increases the chance someone will get exposed. That's why only one person needs to be going out, and even then, only when they have to. When they come home, they need to make sure to remove clothes and wash hands before really even coming in the house (or go straight to the bathroom and disinfect it after, along with the path there,) then take a shower, and throw clothes in the wash immediately. That's how you keep from exposing your entire home. Essential employees should also be doing these things to protect their families. #COVID19 Stay Home

How simple can I get? Stay home, or be the cause of deaths. Think about the implications of that for a minute. I created a whole page for everything Covid19 related. Links to factual information, my graphics, and anything I can find that may help people through this time is there. Adding things as fast as I can. You can find the link in my profile #COVID19 #COVID19 #AloneTogether #stayhomesavelives #ChronicIllness #MentalHealth #fibrowarriors #Fibromyalgia #Addiction #Relationships #invisibleillnesswarrior #InvisibleIllness
