    -The first antidote reminds me of what I learnt in Mental Health course: Motivational interviewing - Miracle question

    -The second last antidote you may have heard about Progressive Muscle Relaxation or also abbreviated as PMR - I have personally found this helpful and to add to this full body scan.

    How I'm feeling, crappy and disheartened

    Quality over quantity
    From now on, push aside the negativity energy and choose wisely. Is it worth the time, energy or effort to think about why.

    I realise during this time the holidays are not always as festive and bright for others.
    For every loss, there is something to learn from. An opportunity to reflect. Take courage and look ahead for the chance to grow. Life itself is a challenge and struggle. Here's hoping and wishing you will find peace and comfort in due time.

    Monday thoughts

    Hope your week is starting off as good as it can be.

    Had the afternoon off, was very sluggish with my client on our morning walk earlier today.

    Really hard to focus, felt light headed.
    Feeling rundown. Partly due to the warm weather actually hitting us Just recently had an actual summer day in Melbourne.
    So I got a blood test done and had a rest. Was nervous about whether or not I'd even gett my blood taken. I have difficult and faint veins...either my fault due to not drinking enough water prior or often cases being...not a very good phlebotomist/nurse.
    So relieved after getting it done🫣😱🤗👌🏼 I found a lady who did it in one shot this day.

    Things to unlearn for the week:
    Putting others first

    =

    Putting yourself first

    You have to earn rest

    =

    You need to rest

    Self-reminders for the week^

    🥰🇳🇿Indulgement

    What a food trip this Sunday!
    A family friend of ours came to Oz
    whom we haven't seen in 20 years+

    My gosh he bought us a whole a bag of goodies of all the types of New Zealand's Whittaker's chocolate.

    I shall indulge in this one - so creamy! 🫠😆

    Lately here in Oz we had an interesting Spring. Summer definitely feeling it here in Melbourne🫠🫠🫠late this afternoon it topped a scorching 33-38 degrees.

    Hope this season you are able to spend time with loved ones. For those of us who are grieving at this time, May you find yourself the comfort and peace you derserve in time.

    Reminder to self/😬

    Hi all, happy weekend! 💁🏻‍♀️

    Just sharing this resource below that I keep handy in my phone to look at in times of need.
    Hopefully it can help ya in any way, take what you wish from it.

    Just had my dentist appointment earlier, I have noticed I occasionally have my teeth grinding at night in the last week or so for a couple nights. My dentist advises me to try and relax at night. I'm thinking haha hmm yeah...really hard to do when under stress.
    I really don't want to have to get a mouthguard/splint put in again😟

    🤔Anyone else got any tips to share around with how to deal with sleepless nights, teeth grinding.

    Indulgence🍪🍦

    Finally...Spring weather has come through today here☀️😆

    Indulging in cookies and cream sundae at my favourite gelateria. Yumm in my tumm

    Had a long and trying hectic working week, I really needed this treat!

    Don't forgot to treat yo self, remember to enjoy the most important things in life - spending quality time your loved ones. I have to make sure I give myself time to breathe, take a moment of stillness, step outside of work mode. Most of the time, I get so caught up in my concern for others' wellbeing, I often forget about my own. I must prioritise to manage my sleep and ensure I pace myself. Also, should keep in mind that in the end I tried my best no matter the barriers I faced and things being out of my control.

    I wish you all peace and comfort. Take care
