I'm new here!

Hi, my name is CynthiaNeely. I'm here because
I have been experiencing inexplicable fatigue for about a year and also began having back pain and after 5 doctors found I had 2 fractures which have been addressed. Still have unexplained back aches and exhaustion. Endocrinologist gave up on me but at least she finally found I do NOT have multiple myeloma/bone cancer which killed my father. I do have low T3 and T4 which have been addressed for years, but that’s not causing my fatigue. My primary care doctor has given up on me and just prescribed an antidepressant (?!?!) which I’m not going to take! Have seen multiple neurologists and spine specialists. I am so tired I am very limited what I can do. Also a weird symptom is occasional extremely cold feet - like painful frostbite! Yes, have had thorough exam by cardiologist. Everything’s good there. This is all new and something is wrong with me but nobody seems to care enough to dig deep to find out what! Next up is a rheumatologist. I don’t have all symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome as I understand it. I am 75 and have been in good health until this began a year ago. Help!#MightyTogether

I'm new here!

Hi, my name is Warpig. I'm here because
I've had full body weakness for about 5 years...... initially in my search for answers I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma but as time went on my weakness got worse.......then came the shortness of breath...No specialist's that I saw could determine what that was after numerous appointments and scans......going back to my myeloma specialist.....he ordered a PET scan..... finally a lung biopsy as he suspected lung cancer......nope.....I have severe Valley fever.....the lesion in my lung was from Valley fever....that may explain the shortness of breath but not the weakness....my next appointment is with a neuromuscular specialist..... I'm trying to help with what I think it may be.........#MightyTogether

I'm new here!

Hi, my name is AnnieJess12B. I'm here because my husband died nine weeks ago after over seven years of multiple myeloma (a blood cancer). For the last year of his life I was a full time carer, leaving me completely drained both physically and mentally. I have been busy sorting through all of John's things and trying to 'get my home back' in some kind of organised way. I neglected many home chores while running him back and forth to the hospital or visiting with food and clean clothes.
How have others managed their grief while trying to get back their own lives? I'm still quite teary at times, especially if someone is overly sypathetic to my new widowed state.

Just smoldering like a volcano or a dragon....

I looked for a smoldering multiple myeloma group, but it doesn't exist. I am at 20% and IGI. Doing Bloodwork at 12 wk intervals and have had every inch of my body scanned. It's not real yet but lurking like a tsunami. My adult kids are freaking out
