I did not know what my title should be since I am having some major issues right now because of all my autoimmune diseases, mental health issues, and a host of other medical problems. I am having a major problem focusing on one task and getting it done. While I am trying to accomplish that task another task surfaces in my brain and I tell myself I should do that one because it will make the first task easier to finish. Before I can get started on any task a whole host of other tasks I need to do. That's when I become so overwhelmed I don't do anything. That is when the anxiety and depression over take me and I just shut my brain down so I can cope. I would like to see a psychiatrist but have been unable to find one who accepts insurance and we cannot afford to cash pay. I also suffer with #Fibromyalgia , #Bipolar2 , #PTSD , #ChronicPain , #MixedConnectiveTissueDiseaseMCTD , #GranulomatosisWithPolyangiitis , Buerger's Disease, #Kidney Transplant, #type 2 Diabetes, #Brain Fog

Something to ponder 😊

We have three roles here on earth: to learn, to love, and to live. When we stop learning, we start to stagnate and die. When we stop loving, we lose our sense of purpose and become self-centered. When we limit our living, we deny the world the benefits of our talents.”

High Blood Sugar

I have not been managing my blood sugar very well. Wondering why I feel shaky and weak when my blood sugar is high. I've heard those are symptoms of low blood sugar and think I need to eat. However, my blood sugar meter tells me I'm high. Has anyone else experienced this?#type 2 diabetes

Daydreaming

Who else here uses daydreaming as a coping mechanism? I know I do. I literally daydream that I have a wonderful girlfriend that also has my type of borderline personality disorder. It's wonderful. #Anxiety #boderline personality disorder #CPTSD #Asthma #type 2 DIABETES

Hi!

I’ve just joined this group, I’m a long term survivor of multiple chronic conditions - #type 1 diabetes, #Fibromyalgia , #IBD , depression/anxiety & just awaiting diagnosis of #CFS & also 8 years clear of #Bowel cancer. I get very low moods especially in winter as I live alone and can go weeks without seeing anyone when it’s dark & cold.

if you don’t behave I’ll send you to boarding school!

So my mother used to say this to me so often that in the end she only had to reach for the phone and I would be crying and saying I’m sorry I’ll be good. also she used to say you’ll miss me when I’m gone! I never knew if she meant she was dying or leaving us!

Remember to listen 🖤

This is what #ChronicIllness looks like on ‘one of those days’
My illnesses are invisible and even I get carried away sometimes and over do things. I do not to let my conditions control my life and sometimes I forget that I have limitations. Then this happens. So here I had a HUGE migraine. I couldn’t even stand the light. These migraines are linked to my #ChiariMalformation
Here is my advice if you have any sort of chronic illness or illnesses. .
*don’t allow your conditions to define you.
*don’t think I can’t..... think, I can try....
*listen to your body. If it needs rest, REST!
*the bad day will pass to make way for better ones.
*take care of your body. It’s going through enough....... fuel it properly and treat it with respect. *LOVE YOUR BODY. It may not be perfect but it’s YOU! And you are awesome no matter what xxx
