What's on your table?

I saw the post about bedside table and this is mine. It's a cute metal plant stand, (but I killed all my plants). It's been used for books and nick nacks, etc...now it's my bedside "everything I need" table. I plan to cover box with contact paper, I needed a bit more space, cuz things kept falling off. I have it on 6" risers so it's higher and easier to get to.

For keeping my tea/cocoa/coffee warm I have a cup warmer. To Keep bugs/pet hair/dust out of my drink I have a cute bowl cover. (And a straw cover). I keep critter treats on bottom shelf. I have OTC meds, lotions, etc...

What type of mattress helps you to stay comfortable in bed?

We all have different needs and preferences when it comes to picking the right mattress, especially for those of us who spend a lot of our time in bed. Some of us may prefer firm mattresses, others soft or memory foam, maybe even Tempur-Pedic (or for the real adventurers among us… water!).

What type of mattress do you prefer? I like my mattress more on the firm side with gel infused breathable memory foam.

Jigsaw puzzles app.

I’ve recently started doing jigsaw puzzles on an app on my iPad. Anyone else do these? They are a fun and fantastic distraction while in bed!
Hope you are having a good day, Beddies! I wish you good days ahead and lots of reasons to smile

In bed, in pain

If you have Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and MS like I do, or if you have just any one of these three, I know you know the pain of muscle spasms in your ribs back shoulders and chest. Last night I was awoken at 1:30 in the morning to blinding excruciating pain. I dared to feed my horses their grain and give my husband a break and do about 10 minutes worth of pruning my plants yesterday. This is the cost.
Why does it have to be SO painful?? It’s not like I bench-pressed a Buick or something!!
Anyway, spending the day in bed watching tv and playing games on my phone ( one armed ). Giving my worse shoulder a bit of a break.
Anyway, if anyone can relate, or lend some encouragement, I sure could use it today. This makes me so sad. I’m trying to stay grateful for my life and positive in my thoughts though.
Smiles and hugs to you all,
Raven

What are your go-to movies, TV shows, books, podcasts, video games, etc. when you're having a rough symptom day?

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you're all having a low-symptom day.

However, when you do have a painful day or are experiencing lots of symptoms, what do you like to do? What movies or TV shows bring you joy?

When I'm stuck in bed all day, I love to do crossword puzzles or play the same Nancy Drew computer games I've played a million times before. I'm also a big fan of rewatching my favorite Parks and Recreation episodes!

So, my fellow zebras, what do you watch, read, play, or listen to when you have to take it easy?

I'm looking forward to getting new recommendations!
