I am in #direNeed of someone with #experience in the #dietician area. In my town, there is no one close/in my network. #please , im #malnourished and #bulimic at no fault of my own. Im #starving to death slowly and I don't know what to do. ...I don't know where else to turn...
Do you ever have deep insecurities surface at unexpected times?
The other day, I was commuting to my new job but I was deeply overwhelmed with a bout of insecurity based on comparisons: a successful career worker/professional verses being a life long worker in various fields.
I spent most of my adult life in ministry. However, outside of ministry, I have held various types of positions. And at times, I notice that I am envious of people who have held careers for years. Yet, I also cringe when I hear of a person working in the same position for thirty years! I cannot image driving or commuting the same way to work, every day at the same time, and doing the exact same thing for thirty years!!! Wow! The Lord gad really allowed me to do A BUNCH OF THINGS during the past thirty years.
So, here I am….insecure and content….wondering if others encounter such an emotional contradiction.🤔
Let me share this but of info as a causation for my conundrum. I just started a new job in a position I have done before. My body aches as it readjust to the physical demands necessary. And I am trying to adjust to this new role, physically. So, my surfaced insecurities might be my emotional way of adjusting to this new endeavor. Also, this is my first position after a year of recuperating from a sustained TBI.

At first I thought, well maybe it's time to get an eye exam which I did. My vision had a slight change my doc said nothing major. Iv e been taken meds on and off for roughly 8-10 months now and it seems about that long. It worries me im only 46 and I feel blind. I wonder if all meds cause this? Any #suggestions or #experience

What can I say about this bad pain day except im #Humbled to be in your presence. Am I startled and #hurt that you are here? Absolutely. Do I wish you were gone? 100% for sure.
In spite of that, today, I'm #choosing to #learn from you.
You see, I know I won't be able to do much today. However, I still have a house to maintain. I still have a dog to take care of. I still have to take care of #Myself .
You see, I choose to take this #painful #experience and try to see what all I can do on this day, knowing it won't be much if anything at all. I still walk today with the mindset of how much can I achieve on a day like today?
Not all days will be this rough, but as of today, I have #Hope .
May your days shine bright with hope 💜

Sorry not sure if allowed to post, I know only a doctor or psychiatrist can help, but anxiety wise any tips with being scared about increasing your meds dose, my anxiety has been pretty severe and I might need a med review or higher dose but I’m a tad scared about side effects or in general increasing it. Thanks if possible any help or your own experience!

I haven't had many episodes lately. I haven't had a drink for 25 years and stopped using cannabis 2 years ago. I have occasional problems with smoking ciga and eating too much sugar or crap food.
