What's on your table?

I saw the post about bedside table and this is mine. It's a cute metal plant stand, (but I killed all my plants). It's been used for books and nick nacks, etc...now it's my bedside "everything I need" table. I plan to cover box with contact paper, I needed a bit more space, cuz things kept falling off. I have it on 6" risers so it's higher and easier to get to.

For keeping my tea/cocoa/coffee warm I have a cup warmer. To Keep bugs/pet hair/dust out of my drink I have a cute bowl cover. (And a straw cover). I keep critter treats on bottom shelf. I have OTC meds, lotions, etc...

Any other empty nesters/former pet parents out there?

Going through and organizing old papers including ones from my kid's childhood and my fur babies up in heaven. It's amazing how much you love and appreciate them after they have "moved on". It's amazing how their place in your heart is imprinted for life (and in my case, on my fingers). I love and miss my bio and my fur babies🙍🏻🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ #kid #Cat #Cats #Bittersweet #Memories #organization

BuJo spreads to prepare for autism evaluation?

Has anyone ever used their bullet journal to help them prepare for an autism evaluation or any other mental health evaluation?

From the sounds of everything happening in my life lately it seems that I'll finally be getting evaluated for autism (as an female adult)!! I want to be as prepared as possible and I feel like my bullet journal is a perfect way to organize that but I'm drawing a blank at spread ideas.

What are some things I could be tracking, measuring, collecting...

All ideas welcome!

(photo of my old uni week spread and it's pretty colours to not get lost and give a sample of my style)

I want to make something for you

Hello everyone. I’m newly diagnosed with BPD (was misdiagnosed with bipolar 10 years ago). I also have depression and ADHD. Anyway. I’m really over my 4 hour commute (round trip) to work, so I’m going to start my own business making custom planners, trackers, journals and printables. I was wondering if you could tell me- what’s something you could really benefit from? I will create (for free) whatever the first 5 commenters need. All I want from you is for you to tell me what type of planner, tracker, journal or printable you would value and benefit from. Thank you! #BPD #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder #Selflove #organization

Are you a clutterbug? #TreatmentresistantDepression #TRD #Clutter #organization

Has your Illness caused you to have a buildup of stuff? Do you stockpile due to past trauma? I definitely do. I want to make sure that I don’t go without anything. And then after a while, the clutter becomes overwhelming and I sink into darkness. 😩

#PandemicTools

Pandemic had me feeling low; did not want to go back there! My tools are still in front of me! Do the work!
Number 1--allowed myself to get sucked into "talking like we're friends" with my #Emotionally /psycholigicallyabusespouse. Why???? I realized putting out this energy was draining me. Rebuild the boundaries and parameters
#Acceptance /lifeisfluid
#ArtTherapy --tracing pictures the useing markers, paints, whatever! Create a masterpiece!
#organization --anything! Kind of cathartic
#playwithmakeup --i'm a daily makeup wearer. Not leaving the house so might as well play with some dramatic looks
DON'T FORGET WHO YOU ARE--YOU ARE WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL. IF YOU MAKE IT OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING-----YEAH! IF YOU HAVEN'T MADE IT OUT OF BED YOU ARE STILL WONDERFUL! HOLD ON TO THAT . REPEAT TO YOURSELF "I AM GOOD. I HAVE FAITH. I WILL TAKE CARE OF MYSELF AND SUCCEED .
DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS. YOUR VICTORIES ARE YOURS!

What challenges do you face with staying organized? 🧺🧹

When it comes to staying organized, I feel as though I’ve tried it all. I’ve never been one of those people who can actually put “cleaning” on their to-do list and actually cross it off at the end of the day and actually say they’ve made significant progress.

Something that stands in my way is my uncanny ability to hyperfocus…on the wrong thing. When I manage to get some cleaning started, I will zone in on something and then two hours have gone by with my room still looking the same. I’d love to know what challenges you may face with staying organized. There’s nothing to be ashamed of if you have trouble staying organized.

Bonus: What methods have worked for you in trying to overcome your challenges? (I recently learned about “junebugging” from a story by Mighty contributor Megan Griffith. I definitely recommend you check it out, especially if you live with ADHD or you just hate chores.)

How do you organize your to-do list? #52SmallThings

Part of prioritizing is figuring out how to organize your to-do list. While some may prefer to organize tasks by category, others may prefer breaking them up by when you want to complete them (morning tasks vs. evening tasks, for example). There is no wrong way to organize your to-do list! Let us know how you organize your priorities in the comments below.

What are some EFFECTIVE ways you have re-learned consistency, self-discipline, & routine/habit-building?

I STRUGGLE with amotivation, self-accountability, brain fog, meeting deadlines, “perfectionism” traps, idea creation/invention, disorganized neverending thoughts, flight-of-ideas, memory issues, and ~losing~ time. Moreover, once I start, I OFTEN down rabbit holes which are hard to invalidate because they are loosely relevant ot I’m scared of forgetting (see: memory issues).

I have a hard time finding the patterns (circumstances, moods, and other factors of context) in my self-hacks and systems that have worked when they did, largely because I am looking for patterns in when I can successfully speed up the activation energy required to execute a task.

This impacts everything from personal aspects (e.g. wanting to meal prep, properly nourish myself, reincorporate fitness/activity, and keeping my place clean/order) to obligations (e.g. assignment/task deadlines and accountability). A lot involves adverse & withdrawal effects from medications, which exacerbated executive functioning. There is more and this is probably hard to follow (something I am also working on), but even typing this was exhausting. :/
