Full moon effects

Does anyone else feel like their going into an episode every time the full moon approaches? I mean full on mood swings, mind going blank, brief periods of depression, irritability, sadness just all out of whack... #Bipolar2 #fullmoon #MajorDepressiveDisorder #Anxiety #ObsessiveCompulsiveAndRelatedDisorder #calmdown #relax #werewolf

Cbd

Recently started using #CBD and I am loving it. I used to feel like I NEEDED to smoke it but recently I’ve been experimenting with edibles. I made my own oil and I’m just baking normally with it. It’s helping my pain and overall mood! #ChronicPain #relax

Good rainy day. #Rain #Selfcare #relax

It’s super rainy where I am right now but I’m actually enjoying every moment of it. I used to dread rainy days because they used to affect my mood so heavily. Now I look forward to the rain because I seem to be so much more productive when it’s dreary outside. My mind has been racing 1000 mph anyway because I’m manic so the “slow down” that the rain brings is much needed. I still look forward to the sunshine but I’m the meantime this rain is treating me so well. I sure do hope that everyone else is having a good day too.🙃 #Happiness #peace #BipolarDepression #Mania

What animal brings you joy?

I enjoy going to the zoo when I can. My favorite animals to watch are elephants and bears! This dude was chilling out in the water the last time I went to the zoo. I could watch him all day!!!
Finding time to relax is an important part of caregiving. If you are both able, sometimes going to the zoo is enjoyable for both people and relaxing. Find that time! Avoid Caregiver burnout!

Letting Go!

My daughter and I enjoyed some Kundalini Yoga.

It is a combination of breath work, body movement and mantras.

We did a mantra that works on trauma and letting go. I didn't have any expectations. Let me tell you...

As I started this, I followed directions until I felt a surge of emotion. I felt warm and then this surge continued to creep up to my chest until I cried. It was out of my control. Something took over and I couldn't stop until we were done with that segment.

I have to tell you that it was a very powerful experience and I felt amazing afterwards.

All I have to say is wow!
