Since a few days I'm thinking of getting a wheelchair for the times when I need to walk for long times or when I'm having a bad day but need to go somewhere. I don't necessarily need a wheelchair, I can walk, but not for long (also can't stand for even 5 minutes without being in pain). The only points that are stopping me, are: 1. I'm really shy and don't like when people are starring at me or paying me too much attention and I'm scared that this will happen when I'm in the wheelchair. Also 2. someone would have to push me all the time, because I'm pretty sure my arms would hurt after short times if I have to do it myself. And 3. taking a wheelchair with me would often be pretty complicated (like holidays, you would have to get it in the car, but the car is already full with stuff or other occasions where you first have to get there with the wheelchair to use it there). Could somebody with experience in having a wheelchair share it with me?
