Christmas is Ending

The #Holidayseason is coming to a close. But a new #Season is coming! ❄️☃️🌬️🌨️ While many places are covered in snow, Florida was covered with chilly weather and frost.

Today is a lot warmer than it was days before, but by Friday it will be 80°. We had weather in the 30's and 40's which is extremely cold for Florida. We have had to cover previous plants and other vegetations too.

It's scary but I am purely knowledgeable when it comes to how Florida always tries to fight to stay warm. I wonder about things going on with weather and #globalwarming and how things relate to my #MentalHealth .

I am looking forward to #2023 because I know that it is one month closer to my birthday month. I tend to celebrate Mardi Gras and my Birthday all together because my birthday is in February. Mardi Gras at Universal begins in February and usually lasts about 2 months. They have parades and dancing and beads and foods. It's a Family Friendly event. That's why I like it.

Christmas this year was a little different. Have you ever experienced the idea of having #holidayexpectations that were just unrealistic? We do not live in a lifetime movie. This year, I had very little of that, and instead just had a good time.

How about you? #howareyou ?

Creating your Holiday Survival Toolkit

We are in the midst of the holiday season. For some that means joy, cheer, excitement, and family time. For others it means stress, overwhelm, emotional distress, toxic family members, anxiety, loneliness, depression...

If you are someone that struggles during the holiday season, know that you aren't alone. The holidays can be an incredibly difficult time. Preparing yourself ahead of time can help. One way to do this is coming up with techniques, skills, and resources in advance. I like to call this, Your Holiday Survival Toolkit. Read my latest blog to learn what a Holiday Survival Toolkit is, why you need one, and how you can create your own.

Memory Lane

Hello Everyone!

I believe we have officially kicked off the #Holidayseason here in central Florida. I am #excited but #sad at the same time. Do you know what I mean?

You see, the time change, mixed with the days being shorter, mixed with #Bipolar II and #Anxiety , it's pretty #horrible .

I am a mix of excited for the decorations around the #ThemeParks and I am looking forward to seeing what is happening in #WaltDisneyWorld next.

I do feel #Loved and #Supported , but I know that I am not 100% where I thought I would be at this point in #Life . Perhaps we have an illusion we are supposed to be something else, when nature always happens?

Let's hope this #Holiday season is #good for you!

How do you #celebrate the holidays?

Thinking About The Season Ahead

🎭 Hello!

I am a blend of emotions this past week, but I am doing better. I have slacked on my classwork for my University studies. I pray that I can make it through without struggling too much. I seriously need help to make it through this class because of how difficult my emotions have been. I believe it's #hormonal but I am confident that I am going to be OK.

I am curious about you guys though, how are you?!

Choose Joy

I had a wonderful time visiting #WaltDisneyWorld here in #Florida . I know how busy it can be visiting central Florida theme parks. Especially since I work in a #themepark It kind of wears you down. However, lately I have felt a bit of a buzz of energy. I don't know if it is the #Holidayseason or if it is #Hypomania .. but is welcomed.

I do feel stronger lately, despite having some serious #PMDD concerns. Prozac medicine makes you feel like you have some kind of a band-aid on whatever emotion you are feeling. It is so weird that I do not know entirely how to best describe it in words.

Have you ever taken #prozac before? If you have, let me know what it makes you feel.

Do you have any plans for this #Holidayseason ? If so, what are they?

I am really looking forward to whoever reads this and replies. ♡

A Little Christmas

All we need is a little Christmas... But it does not really feel so Christmassy. Usually around this time of year I will have been using all of my decorations in full bloom. But I have not. Usually I also have everything purchased for Christmas presents.. and unfortunately... I do not. I thought about what it is that I am going to do, and how I am going to make it through. Well, what do I mean when I say that? It means Pull Through at work.

Without a job, I cannot go Christmas shopping. I am dang near termination level of my job because of their attendance point system. It has failed people like myself who have a mental health disorder and have called out or went home early many times and lost attendance points. You have to have a minimum of 8 in order to have any kind of success to be eligible for transfers to another position in the company. Plus ... If you're not a butt kisser then it makes it even more difficult. This job plays favorites. Merry Christmas to me.

I am looking for work elsewhere. But I can surely tell you that it is choosy for me because I do not want to land myself another retail job. Especially when I need workplace accomodations and jobs do not always offer them. It is really difficult. I am going to do all it is that I can do, and keep moving forward.

I hope you guys are alright.

Hang in there!💜💗

#Holidays with #ChronicIllness

I made two versions to hopefully make it usable for all no matter what holiday you observe, if any💜 I thought about not writing this down and putting it out there because I don't like it to seem like I'm wallowing in self-pity. It's not like that, but these things are my reality, just like they are for many others with chronic conditions, so I made it for all of us, especially those of you who try to handle it with a smile so that no one knows how bad it is. I understand and care💜 For the other version & more "Dida-isms" you can visit the link in my bio
