How do you cope when you’re super happy and then suddenly a bad thought makes you depressed?

Had a bunch of fun today went to cat shelter to volunteer, went for a super long walk like 1 h or 1h 30 mins kind of. Hung out with a friend at the cat shelter 🐱 and then went to get some yummy Korean type of food at Krunch Chiken or something it’s called. Then went kayaking with my mom and dad even though they fight a lot lol. It was fun and really peaceful with the beautiful nature, I’m usually not this active at all but then suddenly one bad thought 💭 or one little thing kinda snaps you from all of that, I guess cuz im a little stressed out about all the to do things I need to do these few weeks and trying to get on top of it and not procrastinate etc.

But im trying I guess maybe I feel scared like oh im too happy and not anxious or depressed lately and something bad will happen and take it all away, or it’s too good to be true and soon I’ll be worse again. Idk I guess it’s hard you can’t always be happy or calm and it’s ok to accept sad emotions too it’s a balance of it all.

What is something good that has happened this week? :-)

Any positive things or things you were grateful for this week? Even as little or as big as you want. #positive #Grattitude #thankful #Trying #MentalHealth #physicalhealth

Haven’t had kiwis 🥝 in so long!

I don’t have them often these were way too sour and not ready to eat yet 😅😅 my tastebuds are stinging by the sourness, but they look gorgeous that’s for sure.

Just love how unique they are, not sure if anyone else has noticed something small or big that they have liked in their day :) #Grattitude #fruit #random #cute

It feels so good to re-connect! Broke a brand new phone; my laptop can not “talk’ with the Mighty😫. (Helped me avoid phone anxiety!) It’s been 2 weeks or so since I’ve posted. My daughter saved the day and gave me an iPhone she had used for awhile. I’m so grateful to have the Mighty and the honor of sharing and learning from all of you!

Thankful #Grattitude #iamalive

I realized now that I have been wasting my life on self-loathing, falling into the dark hole I have created and staying there.

Then I had a “Wake up moment” a few weeks ago. If you haven’t read my last post I was hospitalized for 7 days for attempting suicide. Ever since I turned my life around 180. Each & every single day I find something to be thankful for. I only chase after the positive side of life.

I remind myself that life isn’t so bad after all. I’m happy I have a family & friends that love me unconditionally. Grateful to have a job, roof over my head, food on the table, clothes on my back & a dog who I love so much.

Without my struggle I wouldn’t be what I am today. I put my past behind me, learned from it & only move forward. I am strong, resilient and I breathe gratitude.

So you see it’s not too late to change. Do it while you’re still breathing! #bethankful #loveyourself

Thankful and Grateful

While sitting in a #Rheumatologist ’s office and being told you are one of the 2% of the population who has #Fibromyalgia isn’t always what you want to hear, I am so incredibly #grateful . I am grateful because #ChronicPain can be a debilitating condition that can take years to be diagnosed yet I was fortunate enough to get answers in less than 3 months.

Not sure how it happened but I was blessed that majority of the health professionals I met recognised and acknowledged the pain I was feeling.

In fact, one of the first things the doctor said to me was that, “Even though there’s no damage to the muscles and joints that we can see, the pain you feel is still real.”

And I know this isn’t always the case for some suffers and receiving a diagnosis can be a very frustrating, repetitive and invalidating process. So, if you do suffer from chronic pain whether you’ve been diagnosed or not, please remember your experience and feelings are real and valid. Don’t loose hope.
