How do you cope when you’re super happy and then suddenly a bad thought makes you depressed?

Had a bunch of fun today went to cat shelter to volunteer, went for a super long walk like 1 h or 1h 30 mins kind of. Hung out with a friend at the cat shelter 🐱 and then went to get some yummy Korean type of food at Krunch Chiken or something it’s called. Then went kayaking with my mom and dad even though they fight a lot lol. It was fun and really peaceful with the beautiful nature, I’m usually not this active at all but then suddenly one bad thought 💭 or one little thing kinda snaps you from all of that, I guess cuz im a little stressed out about all the to do things I need to do these few weeks and trying to get on top of it and not procrastinate etc.

But im trying I guess maybe I feel scared like oh im too happy and not anxious or depressed lately and something bad will happen and take it all away, or it’s too good to be true and soon I’ll be worse again. Idk I guess it’s hard you can’t always be happy or calm and it’s ok to accept sad emotions too it’s a balance of it all.

What he/she/they/you think of me is None of my business, and here is why:

We all know the #struggle it is to #Love ourselves, to even find and hold onto #Selfworth is a great challenge fr most of us. In a civilization saturated by a culture corporate/business model norm that our worth, our #value is based on #Productivity and we come to define productive as getting dressed, brushing our teeth, COOKING, and the true miracle- going for a #Walk . The opinions of those who can not “walk a mile in our lives” COMPLETELY lack any value to us. Oh, you will encounter fakers who will mock our lives, as if they have given it thought. However, when you whisper to their bravado the reality their minds are too small to absorb it. A shout on f how dramatic you are!
Again, the opinion of him/her/they or them is utterly meaningless. Only YOU know your truth, your effort given your #resources . Our remaining #resources whether it be #Fibromyalgia , #Asthma , #MajorDepression , #AnxietyAttack , #longcovid , #ChronicFatigue , or one f the many combinations of #AutoimmuneDisease with so much else, NO ONE knows how much is in our tank on any given day, r the #courage it takes to #rest !!!!

My Dreamsicle  #Walk MS #Caregiving

This lady did 5 miles in Woodlands TX. This year it's a Virtual WalkMS taking place until September. Weather was perfect. She followed the waterway & had a blast.

I am a fool

I am a fool. Why you ask? Well I was doing great today. I woke up and got dressed. I even put on makeup for the first time in weeks. I had a banana and took my medicine. I went outside on the front porch and read...for 3 and 1/2 hours. I kept hydrated and had a small snack. I came in the house and helped my sister decorate cupcakes. I was doing really great. Then I took my dog on a really long walk. That was a mistake. Halfway through my walk I realize that I haven’t eaten anything all day besides a banana and a couple of pretzels. I finally get home and I am shaking so bad, my brain is foggy and I can barely open my eyes. Lessons learned from this? Know your limits. Keep up on hydration and make sure to eat. Be gentle with yourself.
