Hello! I am Novastarr 😊. I found this app after reading a post about loneliness in an MS Society email. I have been pretty down and out lately, wanting to do nothing but play games on my iPad. I go days at a time without checking my email or doing anything slightly resembling productivity. I’m glad I got motivated today and found this group to give me somewhere to express myself to people who understand it all!

Somebody tell me how I can go to the library and get myself a book that I know I will enjoy and I love to read, but I am sitting here with this book in my lap, and I can’t make myself read. I procrastinate even the things that I love doing. I’m procrastinating right now by being on my phone and leaving this post🤦♀️. It doesn’t make any sense to me. Love going to the library. I know I will love the books that I got. I love to read. Once I make myself start reading, I won’t be able to stop myself. So why is it so hard to make myself start? Makes no sense!

Hi everyone! I am new to this group. I live with Type 1 diabetes, hypothyroidism, anemia and chronic kidney disease. I also have anxiety as a result of living with these conditions. Consequently I am exhausted most of the time and struggle to accomplish things in my life. Nice to meet everyone and hear everyone’s stories here.

Good morning Mighty Fam! Woke at 4am with a migraine but thank God it has passed. I got up and got one rizatriptan and two excedrin and microwaved my axolot heating pad my bestie gave me. Laid back down for an hour and a half and miraculously the pain passed. Thank You Lord. I have work today that has to be done either way so I am glad I am migraine free. I wake often with migraine. When I can make it go away in the first couple hours I am usually good. But if it doesn’t go away in an hour or two with meds and heat it means the rest of the day gonna be varying migraine pain. Migraines suck! I am excited today about work because my promotion starts next week. I was so worried about it but I have prayed a lot and am really feeling peace now. Which is great because I am so quick to get anxious about things. I will be working five days a week instead of four so tomorrow will be my last Friday off. That worried me because I get so fatigued but I am just going to take the best care of myself as I know how. I definitely need to work on how often I vent frustration with the body I have been given. Every so often I have to stop and readjust my thoughts for the better, thanking my body for all it does to try to do what I want.
It does the best it can and I need to appreciate what it can offer.
