my first winter season as a wheelchair user

so as the photo is showing, the first snow of the season has arrived in Norway. I know that a lot of people enjoy this season but for me it comes with mixed emotions related to previous abuse. this year however it will be my first winter season with the wheelchair. I would like to hear from you, what your experiences are and what you do to manage🙂#ChronicIllness #Disabililty #firstsnowfall #howtocopewithsnowinawheelchair

It’s a sad wake up call

It’s horrible when you realise that your holding everyone in your life back. The people that love you miss out on things because of you and your chronic pain and disabilities. I can’t be normal with them and live a normal life #Disabililty #chronic pain

    Some Wheelchair Resources

A year ago, I bought an electric Wheelchair by doing a GoFundMe. I put together some resources to help other people when looking at electric wheelchairs. I hope it helps! I bought a lightweight, foldable chair, but some of the questions I suggest thinking about are relevant when looking at other chairs too. It was hard to accept I needed one at first, but I am so grateful and happy to have it now. I am ambulatory, but have ME and POTS, and it makes a huge difference in my functioning.
